Frequently asked questions
Each successful POST to
/token that returns an access token counts as one request. Failed requests due to invalid credentials or rate limiting do not count toward your monthly total.
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Yes. Pro comes with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start the trial. You’ll be reminded before the trial ends.
All plans have access to both EU and US regions. You choose your region when you sign up — data never crosses regions.

Rolling your own M2M auth means provisioning and managing Cloud KMS or an equivalent HSM, implementing the OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials flow, building and hosting a JWKS endpoint, handling key rotation, and wiring up an audit trail. A conservative estimate is one to two weeks of engineering time to do this properly — and ongoing maintenance after that. At typical engineering rates, break-even against the Pro plan is under a week. AuthKnox handles all of it so your team ships product instead.
