Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

By using AuthKnox (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

AuthKnox provides OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials token issuance and related authentication infrastructure as a service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.

Early access

The service is currently in early access. Features, pricing, and limits may change. We will give reasonable notice of material changes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Credentials

You are responsible for keeping your client secrets secure. AuthKnox is not liable for unauthorised token issuance resulting from compromised credentials. Rotate secrets immediately if you believe they have been exposed.

Uptime and SLA

We target 99.9% monthly uptime on the token issuance endpoint. Scheduled maintenance is excluded. SLA credits may be available on Pro and Enterprise plans — contact support for details.

Payment and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes. You are responsible for providing accurate billing information. Failure to pay may result in service suspension after reasonable notice.

All payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. AuthKnox does not store payment card details.

Intellectual property

AuthKnox and its logo are trademarks of AuthKnox. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over client IDs, secrets, or any data you generate through use of the service.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion, giving you time to export what you need.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give at least 14 days’ notice by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthKnox shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
